The director and design team for Sweet Charity approached the musical as if the character Charity Hope Valentine was seeing the world through rose colored glasses. All elements of design switched to pink whenever Charity entered her fantasy world. The original Fosse choreography was recreated by Alison Morooney. The Penn State costume shop built a large portion of this production making the dresses that could move and dance.
